Additionally, blueberries are high in manganese as well as vitamin K.

Fair Trade Blueberry Growers
Green Tribe Organic is a group of seven Chilean organic Fair Trade blueberry producers. Their farms are located in central Chile and produce berries for export from November to April. In 2009, interrupcion* helped the Green Tribe growers formalize their cooperative and achieve fair trade certification. Later that year they officially became interrupcion* members and began exporting their berries to the US. Green Tribe is built on a foundation of trust, quality and a profound respect for the environment. They are committed to organic agricultural practices and manage their soil and water resources with great care. The Green Tribe producers are working hard to foster the livelihoods of their communities through projects in local schools and other facilities. Social Premium funds generated by sales of their Fair Trade berries are also helping them to strengthen the cooperative and to rebuild workers' homes damaged in the recent earthquake. Looking towards the future, Green Tribe is also now developing an expanded range of products, which will include organic Fair Trade raspberries and organic Fair Trade kiwis.
